Clay, glaze, precious stones

Dyadic is inspired by ancient fertility figures representing motherhood, sexuality and abundance. Many socitieies throughout time have worshipped the Fertile Goddess and the creation of life. Famous pieces such as the Venus of Lespugue and the Venus of Willendorf are Upper Paleolithic (30,000 - 10,000 B.C.E examples. The pieces were made during my training as an Art Psychotherapist, and alongside the same time as ‘Venus’, another within the series.
