Hostile, 2024

Bamboo, wood, metal, pins

Dimensions: 17cm x 17cm

This piece was a process artwork made during my training as an Art Psychotherapist. It was created after reading papers on architecture, therapy and the unconscious. I wove together metal and wood to create a nest, which is reminiscence of attachment theory. It helped me consider systems in conflict and competition with one another, and the balance of both pleasant and unpleasant aspects of systems.
